CHAMPAIGN — The University of Illinois has announced its complete football schedules until the 2024 season.

Illinois will continue to play nine Big Ten games each season, six against dellow West Division teams and three crossover games.

All home games include seven home games and the Illini will open the season against Big Ten opponents in 2022, 2024 and 2025.

Next season, the Illini open at home against Akron on Aug. 31 before traveling to the University of Connecticut in Week 2 on Sept. 7.
