Though graduation hit some of the Generals' defense, they return top-end talent in defensive back and University of Iowa commit AJ Lawson, and safety Jeff Wells, who is fielding Division I offers with more likely on the way before the end of the year. Those two, combined with linebackers Latrell Phillips and Malachi Thomas, and safety Davion Nawls, give head coach Derek Spates plenty of firepower.
