SPRINGFIELD — Carsyn Fearday split the defense, shook a defender and hit a layup to pull the Effingham girls basketball team within three points with 3:30 left in Monday's Class 3A Springfield (UIS) Super-sectional.
NORMAL — Teutopolis got the exact play it wanted.

LINCOLN -- Only one team beat the Charleston girls’ basketball team during the regular season and in order to get the Class 3A Super Sectionals, the Trojans had to go through that same team.
