There will be some good teams in the Herald & Review area that don’t get the postseason hardware they deserve.

That’s because of the amount of talent blocking the path. There’s a defending state champion in Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg, plus two other teams returning key contributors to state teams in Argenta-Oreana and Mount Zion.

Add in a young but talented Maroa-Forsyth, a Meridian team ready for a breakthrough, loaded teams at Charleston and Tri-City/Sangamon Valley, plus several others, and the competition at the top will be fierce.
