Illinois coach Brad Underwood knows how big Tuesday's win against Michigan State was, but also knows it's important to not dwell on the win with a good Rutgers team coming to town on Saturday.

CHAMPAIGN — On Wednesday, the Big Ten Conference announced the conference schedule for the Illinois men's basketball team.

For the second season, the 14 Big Ten teams will play a 20-game conference schedule, playing seven teams twice in a home-and-home series and six teams once; playing three at home and three away.

The Illini will play Iowa, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Northwestern, Purdue and Rutgers twice — once in Champaign and once on the road.

Illinois also hosts Indiana, Minnesota and Nebraska and travels to Ohio State, Penn State and Wisconsin.

Illinois finished 12-21 this season and was 7-13 in the Big Ten.
