Tommy Sheppard Jr. holds the lead in the Modifieds division at Macon Speedway.

MACON — All police, paramedics and firefighters will be admitted free to six divisions of racing at Macon Speedway on Saturday for First Responders Night.

The night of racing will be highlighted by the Pro Late Models feature, with Dakota Ewing entering with five wins in eight features. He leads in the standings by 60 points over second-place Donny Koehler

In the Modifieds division, Tommy Sheppard Jr. is coming off a week in which he won both the Modifieds and Street Stocks features. He's won six of 10 features and owns a commanding lead in the Modifieds points race.

Tim Hancock has won seven out of 10 features in the Neal Tire & Auto Pro Modified class and currently leads the standings. Nick Justice, of Decatur, is second in points and is coming off of his first feature win in the class.

Cerro Gordo driver Terry Reed is on top of the Street Stock class. Reed has a 50-point lead in the division, having won three feature events. Darrell Dick has missed two nights this season but is still in second place in the standings.

Jeremy Reed was tough in the Hornet class last year, winning seven features and battling for the championship. This year, Jeremy’s younger brother Brady is picking up where he left off, winning three features so far with nine top fives in as many starts.

Tyler Day is the current point leader in the Micros standings. Day has claimed one feature win and leads by four points over Jacob Tipton. Tipton had mechanical failure one week ago and will likely not be in attendance.
