The Illinois State University Planetarium is pleased to offer the full-dome show "Flight Adventures," running June 3-10, 2026. Showtimes are Wednesdays at 2 p.m. and Fridays at 7:30 p.m. There is no show on Juneteenth, June 19, 2026.
Discover the science of flight through the eyes of a young girl and her grandfather as they explore how birds, kites, and aircraft fly. Learn the history and future plans of flight. Finally, see how NASA is discovering new and safer ways to travel with the help of future engineers and aviators—like you.
Tickets may be purchased next to the planetarium beginning 20 minutes before each show. Cash or check only. Seating is limited.

The ISU Planetarium is located under the white domed roof at the eastern end of Felmley Hall of Science Annex, at the intersection of College Avenue and School Street in Normal. Inexpensive parking for the Wednesday matinees is available in the visitor lot, located on Locust Street. Free parking for the Friday evening programs is available a short distance from the ISU Planetarium in parking lot F-67, located on the east side of School Street.
