DECATUR — A coat of paint, new flooring and some extra shelves has brought a bit of energy and peace to the Oasis Day and Resource Center.

1958: Most children's problems grow out of parent's problems. The clinic says it can't treat the child without treating the parents. Donald Sauer and Miss Lena Mills, clinic social caseworkers, hold a combied therapy session of parents of mentally disturbed children. In addition to holding group sessions with parents, they counsel parents individually.
