Products/services offered: Timbuktu welcomes everyone to enjoy
our inviting, comfortable atmosphere whether you are bellied up to
the bar or cozying up near the wood-burning fireplace. Aside from
the atmosphere, we offer a full line of liquor and domestic and
import beers. You won’t ever leave hungry with our handful of
fresh, hand-battered appetizers, along with an array of sandwiches
sure to satisfy anyone’s taste buds. Our menu also offers fresh,
crisp salads for the light eaters and seasonal soups and chili to
warm up from the cold of winter. Timbuktu entertains their
customers with DJ/Karaoke on Thursday nights with no cover charge
to get things started for the live bands, playing anything from
old-time rock ’n’ roll to top 40 country hits to keep your feet
dancing, Friday and Saturday nights. And who could forget our
outdoor patio that pleases everyone all year around. Our patio
offers a heated, enclosed “butt hut” in the winter and an open bar
in the summer for the smokers. Everyone is sure to enjoy sitting
around the fire after watching a day’s worth of sand volleyball and
bags. But wait there’s more — like the biggest deck in town that
was added last summer.
Your survival tip to others starting or maintaining a family
(small) business: We know that a business can’t run without a staff
that we can trust, by being reliable and honest in their work. It
is also important to make every single person feel like they are
your most valued customer. Each and every customer counts and they
need to know that. We show our appreciation by our presence. It’s
not every day that the owners show their gratitude for the success
of their business, but we try every day because if it weren’t for
them there would be no us.
