Heartland volleyball sweeps both matches at Lincoln Land Invitational
The Hawks took care of business last Friday with dominant performances against Rend Lake and East Central. Heartland's outside hitters, Elena Kvasnicka, Ava Yeakel and Addison Pacha, excelled all weekend in their attacks while showing off their two-way ability with a high number of digs.

The Hawks had three players with 11 kills, Kvasnicka, Yeakel and Pacha, en route to a sweep for Heartland. Yeakel and Pacha displayed their defensive skills with 13 and 10 digs, respectively. Setter Reece Elaine Harrison set up her attackers with 34 assists while giving Rend Lake trouble with four service aces. The block line was strong for the Hawks, who totaled 16 block assists as well.

Yeakel and Pacha continued their offensive prowess in this match as they had 15 and 14 kills, respectively, while also having 12 and 13 digs each. Libero Ava Bercot had one of her best games of the year with 16 digs.
